Death Tide, Sea Monters and Sapphic Heroes

I'll eventually be starting up a newsletter you can subscribe to. But in the mean time, here's what I'm up to!

The Seas Are Screaming has been revised and is now live on Amazon. The sequel, DEATH TIDE, is currently being written. I have 6 chapters down. I am really aiming on exploring what happened to Becca in the first book, and the ramifications of turning into something more than human. 

Apparently, in the literary world, lesbian heroes are now referred to as the rather poetic Sapphic hero. 

I am not one to put labels on people, but since it is ALL THE RAGE to do so, Becca is a Sapphic, kick ass, butch plumber.  

She is worried about what that monstrous land walking jellyfish did to her, and wonders if she, and her friends, will survive the tide that is pushing more monsters in from the sea. 

In addition to a freaky jellyfish that transforms people into...other things...there are mutant deer, freaky fish, a GIANT Portuguese man o' war, and ZOMBIES! These aren't the typical zombies though. They are kind of a mix of 28 DAYS LATER and RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD.  Some of them are rather smart, in the creepy, "oh fuck" kind of way.

I'm working hard to get this second entry done, especially since the first book ended in a cliff hanger, and well...then my life got super complicated and I couldn't write for a few years.

New Horror Books Available by Cassie Carnage!

A lot has happened since I've last been on here to post things.

I had another baby, bought a house and am now back to work, writing more kickass horror!

I am happy to announce that I have 2 horror series being released this year! One is the Sapphic horror Screaming Seas trilogy, that will be out this summer.  

The first book in the series used to be titled PHASE ONE INFECTION. I am breathing new life into the title and rebranding it, plus finishing the cliff hanger with the second book, DEATH TIDE. The third book, ALIEN SHORES, tackles what happens to our world when aliens from the sea take over.

The other is a gay vampire trilogy, starting with DEVOURED. It is an expansion on the serial I posted on here in 2017 titled Addicted to the Abyss. With a lot more romantic tension, vampire violence, evil corporations, and werewolves. 

The Seas are Screaming will be available next week on Amazon. Devoured is currently available to buy. Both will be offered in paperback form in a few months. 

The revised edition of my horror anthology, WE ARE ALL MONSTERS, is also available on kindle and is getting a brand new paperback format as well.
