I've been keeping tabs on "Two Red Eyes" for over a year now, and it finally appears that the movie is getting into it's final stages of development. For those of you who don't know, I'm a huge fan of "The Mothman Prophecies," and the Mothman urban legend in general.
To me, the best horror films are those that slowly get under your skin, to create a creeping dread that is unshakable long after the movie is over. "The Mothman Prophecies" is one such film, and hopefully, "Two Red Eyes" will be as well.

"Painkiller" is a short body horror film directed by the great Jeremiah Kipp. For those of you who haven't heard of him, Kipp is a fantastic horror director, who has really started to make his mark in the independent film world. His work is moody and visceral; macabre and beautiful at the same time. Kipp manages to draw out the best from his actors to create vivid, albeit often flawed, characters.
Being able to create such a realistic, and often unsettling, horror movie in such a brief amount of time means that the talented Mr. Kipp should be listed up there with the best directors of terrorvision: Alfred Hitchcock, David Cronenberg, David Lynch, and Guillermo del Toro. All of these men manage to create suspenseful, character driven stories that are so visually stunning that they stay with the viewer for a lifetime, and Kipp is no different. In fact, his work is so good, that when I learned that he signed up to direct a new body horror film called "Painkiller," I jumped at the chance to help promote it. Seriously, he's that good!

"The Babadook" is a brilliant Australian horror film about Amelia, who tragically lost her husband in an accident on the same day that she gave birth to their son, Samuel. Samuel, now seven years old, has become utterly paranoid about monsters coming to get him, up to the point that he is making and carrying weapons with him to school.
