I'll eventually be starting up a newsletter you can subscribe to. But in the mean time, here's what I'm up to!
The Seas Are Screaming has been revised and is now live on Amazon. The sequel, DEATH TIDE, is currently being written. I have 6 chapters down. I am really aiming on exploring what happened to Becca in the first book, and the ramifications of turning into something more than human.
Apparently, in the literary world, lesbian heroes are now referred to as the rather poetic Sapphic hero.
I am not one to put labels on people, but since it is ALL THE RAGE to do so, Becca is a Sapphic, kick ass, butch plumber.
She is worried about what that monstrous land walking jellyfish did to her, and wonders if she, and her friends, will survive the tide that is pushing more monsters in from the sea.
In addition to a freaky jellyfish that transforms people into...other things...there are mutant deer, freaky fish, a GIANT Portuguese man o' war, and ZOMBIES! These aren't the typical zombies though. They are kind of a mix of 28 DAYS LATER and RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD. Some of them are rather smart, in the creepy, "oh fuck" kind of way.
I'm working hard to get this second entry done, especially since the first book ended in a cliff hanger, and well...then my life got super complicated and I couldn't write for a few years.
