Happy Howlidays! Infinite Santa 8000

Infinite Santa

"A thousand years ago the world completely collapsed. Everyone must kill to survive, even Santa."

"Infinite Santa 8000" takes place in the sand blasted wastelands of a ruined earth, where the only life that remains are hideous blood thirsty mutants and a handful of robot people. Old St. Nick has battled monstrous demons for hundreds of years, and hasn't seen a single soul, until Martha comes along. The little cyborg girl warms Santa's ice cold heart, and for the first time in over a thousand years, he finds himself laughing once more. Santa's joy is short lived, however, when the evil Dr. Shackleton reveals his hideous plans to vivisect him and discover what makes Santa immortal.

Dr. Shachleton

Movie Review and Director Interview: Jenny Ringo and the Monkey's Paw by Chris Regan

"Jenny Ringo and the Monkey's Paw" is a horror comedy by Chris Regan loosely based on the classic short horror story "The Monkey's Paw" by W.W. Jacobs which you can read here

Jenny Ringo lives with her slacker best friend Gavin. While on a Wiccan retreat, he deigns to leave the apartment and comes across the mysterious and musical Magician who gives him a magic monkey's paw that will grant three wishes. Needless to say, Gavin does not wish wisely and quickly regrets wishing for an awesome new best friend named Jeff Awesome. Jeff needs a girlfriend that is as awesome as he is, and Gavin wishes for Candy Gorgeous, and a pizza. Comedic antics ensue as Jenny returns to find Gavin in trouble. It's up to her to save him from the curse of the monkey's paw.

Unfortunately Jeff Awesome and Candy Gorgeous don't want to be erased from existence, and the only way to undo Gavin's wishes is to re-attach the paw to the monkey, which brings it's own troubles by sending the individual to their own personal hell.

The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 7: Pretty Much Dead Already

During breakfast, Glenn is sitting watching Maggie from afar, who is standing on her porch, shaking her head no. He looks to Dale, who gives him an encouraging nod, and then he steps in front of the group and nervously asks for their attention. He tells them that the barn is full of walkers.

Shane and the others head over to the barn. Shane looks inside, and a walker heads up to the door looking to him eye to eye. Shane wants to take care of them, before they break out and kill them. Rick says no. They are guests on Hershel's farm. They must abide by his rules. Shane wants to make things right and kill the walkers, or go to Fort Bennett, like they were talking about.

Rick doesn't want to leave until they find Sophia. Shane thinks that it's a waste of time, he believes that Sophia is dead. His words anger Daryl, who firmly believes that she is still alive, and that she is worth searching for. Daryl is about to get into a fight with Shane, and Lori breaks them up. Dale tells them that Hershel doesn't see the walkers as undead monstrosities, but as people. Hershel's wife and step-son are in the barn. He thinks that they're just sick people, and doesn't see them as the danger that they are. Their raised voices causes the walkers to push on the front door, which is bolted and chained shut. Shane believes its only a matter of time before they break free and attack them.

Anima Sola Scene Autopsy

Latin Horror has a series called "Scene Autopsy," where they challenge creative people who work in film to talk about the art of film making. The intent is to get film makers to stop thinking in terms of generating buzz for a current project and short term goals to get as many people to "like" the film as possible, and to start thinking of movie making as an art form.

According to Latin Horror, there is far too much emphasis on short-term gimmicks and fake creative discrimination- in other words, current social media and TV trailers for movies have removed us from the heart and soul of movies, and their intended purpose. Movies were not originally created in order for a production company to make a quick buck, but to entertain and move the audience.
