I was jumping not because of what was happening on screen, but because I was listening with sony wireless headphones (which rock) but the noise was suddenly blared in my ears. Ahhh! that hurts. Annoying. Especially the first half of the movie. I kept wanting to rewind and see if I would have liked the scene by itself, because it was impossible to tell.

It seemed as if these noises were added after the fact by a filmmaker not confident enough in the product. I can forgive some plotholes, and the record keeper was a contrived way to have the director try to speak/explain to the audience. You describe it well, not bad but somewhere in the middle. My favorte scenes were the quieter ones. Watching the Children view TV for the first time, the evolution of their body movements, and watching the attempts at attachment by the reluctant parent. I also felt it was cool how the two children progressed in different ways. Mark Matthewshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11956530916020259514noreply@blogger.com
