Love Body Horror? Then Support 'Painkiller!'

"Painkiller" is a short body horror film directed by the great Jeremiah Kipp. For those of you who haven't heard of him, Kipp is a fantastic horror director, who has really started to make his mark in the independent film world. His work is moody and visceral; macabre and beautiful at the same time. Kipp manages to draw out the best from his actors to create vivid, albeit often flawed, characters.

Being able to create such a realistic, and often unsettling, horror movie in such a brief amount of time means that the talented Mr. Kipp should be listed up there with the best directors of terrorvision: Alfred Hitchcock, David Cronenberg, David Lynch, and Guillermo del Toro. All of these men manage to create suspenseful, character driven stories that are so visually stunning that they stay with the viewer for a lifetime, and Kipp is no different. In fact, his work is so good, that when I learned that he signed up to direct a new body horror film called "Painkiller," I jumped at the chance to help promote it. Seriously, he's that good!

So, what can you do to help support independent horror? Contribute as little as $10 to their movie funds!

They’re attempting to raise $2,500 for production costs. "Painkiller" will begin filming in April this year. They expect to have DVDs ready and sent out by the end of 2014.

I've made my donation of $25- that gives me a mention on the Supporter's Page, and a copy of the DVD when the movie is done!

Head on over to Painkillerfilm.com to donate today! You won't regret it!
