Today, the first five minutes of the premiere episode of "American Horror Story: Asylum" appeared on Facebook. It features the "lovers," a young married couple who are taking a honeymoon tour of the 12 most haunted places in America. The latest stop on their honeymoon tour is Briarcliff Manor Sanitarium, where they are going to explore the haunted abandoned building for some very sexy thrills. Sounds like my kind of honeymoon.
Briarcliff Manor was a tuberculosis ward that was purchased by the Catholic church in 1963 and turned into a sanitarium. In the intro to the episode, it is revealed that the sanitarium was the home of the serial killer called Bloody Face.
Yes, you read that right, it's Bloody Face. That's a real original name there guys. Of course, last year it was the Rubber Man, so I suppose that the show's writers are moving up as far as bad guy name quality goes.
The picture below is of a clipping from Entertainment Weekly magazine shows off Bloody Face, and reveals that he is just one of the season's villains. It also tells us that there will be monsters called raspers on the show this year as well.
Head over to American Horror Story's Facebook page to watch the first five minutes of the season premiere, which proves yet again, that the ones caught fornicating by the monster are those to die first...
I don't know about you, but I'm really digging the the title song created by sound designer Cesar Davila-Irizarry and musician Charlie Clouser. It's creepy and reminiscent of the musical style of Nine Inch Nails. I can't wait to see what else the composers have in store for us this season!
The premiere of "American Horror Story: Asylum" airs next week, Wednesday October 17, 2012 at 10:00 pm on FX.
