'Resident Evil: Damnation' in Stores this September

A new CG animated movie for Resident Evil, "Resident Evil: Damnation" will be in stores September 25, 2012. It will be available in Blu-Ray and DVD. The movie is currently available for purchase on the Zune Marketplace on XBOX 360 and the PSN on PlayStation 3, so if you own those consoles, you can watch it before the release date.

"Resident Evil: Damnation" is the sequel to the fantastic CGI movie "Resident Evil: Degeneration." The feature-length computer animated film was directed by Makoto Kamiya and produced by Hiroyuki Kobayashi. Kamiya also directed "Resident Evil: Degeneration," so I know that this movie is going to be good.

There are rumors that Biological Organic Weapons, or B.O.W.s, are being used in a vicious civil war that has broken out  in a small eastern European country. United States DSO agent Leon S. Kennedy is sent to investigate and confirm that the BOWs are being used, and then find a way to stop them.

Shortly after Leon arrives, his government liaison, Ingrid Hunnigan, informs him that he must evacuate the country. He refuses to leave and ignores his orders, heading right into the heart of the battle to find and stop the B.O.W.s from spreading the zombie virus before another tragedy like Raccoon City occurs.

The main characters of the movie are Leon Kennedy, Ada Wong, Buddy, JD, Ataman and Svetlana Belikova. You can see their pictures, along with the name of the voice actors, in the image below.

Here's some clips from "Resident Evil: Damnation!"

There are rumors of spoilers for "Resident Evil 6"  located at the end of the credits of "Resident Evil: Damnation," so if you don't want to ruin it for yourself, don't watch it. Me, heck, I will be watching it. I can't wait for RE6 to come out!
